The Promise of Pain
Life, and therefore certainly work, is messy, hard, uncertain, confusing, at times broken, complex, scary, heavy, and full of humans and problems.
A pain-free, happy-always existence isn’t possible.
And in fact, it’s in the pain, and when that pain can be met with understanding, compassion, empathy, real honesty, and friendship, where the brightness emerges.
